Jordan Winburn is a 20 year old college student pursing a degree in general programming so he can work in the wonderful, ever-growing field that is IT. He's interested in computers, video games, cars, and multiple art forms, the main ones being video creation and music, although he is only particularlly skilled in video creation.
I've been programming since high school, beginning in C# after getting a class at an external building. Ever since, my enjoyment of programming and my knowledge for just how practical and important knowing how to do this stuff truly is- how it binds all the parts of a computer together. It's extremely interesting to think that you are essentially able to speak to and command a computer to create many different kinds of programs to help people in all kinds of situations and jobs.
I think Michigan is one of the better places to live due to the low risk of powerful natural disasters- they're still possible, but not as likely to do as much damage as a tropical storm. I also love the ability we have to see all four seasons in all of their glory- yes, even winter. Lastly, I love the ability we have to pretty much drive anywhere as long as we can pay for gas and our car is good for it. This is because of our lack of toll booths- I know some of us would prefer the roads we could maintain with toll booths, but I personally love the freedom you have with just a car and a liscense in our state.
My hobbies include pretty much anything you can do with computers. I love to play video games, I love to watch and create videos on YouTube, I love browsing and listening to music, learning new facts while researching the vast interwebs, interacting with indie creators' work, all sorts of fun stuff.
I am very basic when it comes to my foods, childish even. My favorite foods are very simple, I say you can't go wrong with a pizza or some chicken nuggets after a long day, along with your favorite soda or flavored water.
Well, my favorite artist is on this very website! I love Weezer for their sound and their genuine emotions that they convey in their music. I think Rivers is a great singer and lyricist, and I love that he writes his real thoughts and feelings into his work. I also think the rest of the band has an unbeatable sound, both when they're able to sing and when they play their instruments. I feel the same about the singular artist Jack Stauber- his metaphors and unique sound he brings are absolutely wonderful, and both of these artists bring me great comfort and inspiration.
I love a good classic slasher, my favorite of that genre being the original Halloween. Aside from that genre, my second favorite movie ever has to be Napoleon Dynamite. I love its strange yet genuine feel, its wacky characters, and its perspective on such a simple life.
If I had to give advice on how to keep your head above water in this major, it's to keep your spirits and motivation high. If you become depressed and demotivated, things start to slip away from you, and you can't assure your own success that way. Know that you can as long as you start early enough. Make things fun, speak with people who can help and uplift you when it comes to these topics.
